Residents at the Central Forest Apartments have raised complaints of strange noises, odd behaviors, and unusual feelings. As the superintendent, you have been assigned to determine what exactly is going on.

But be cautious. Reports from neighbors indicate nobody hardly ever leaves the building...

Talk to the residents. Investigate, gather clues, and figure out who can be saved.

This game was made for the Pizza Doggy's Horror Jam #3 Game Jam.

GENERATIVE AI DISCLOSURE:

• As a solo developer with full time employment, game development is a hobby. I used Generative AI to accelerate development by filling in for some of my short comings so that I could meet the game jam deadline without crunching. 
  • This amounted to primarily assisting in writing dialogue and narrative given some ground rules.
  • Specifically, I used it to come up with a first draft of the narrative. I then heavily cut it down and refined it to my own liking.

• Less than 20% of the code for this game was written with assistance from generative AI. Generative AI is a wonderful debugger for complex systems, and makes quite a good instructor for teaching concepts.
